On behalf of the organizing committee and myself it is with great pleasure that we bring you the 43rd annual the Gatineau Kiwanis International midget hockey tournament. Forty of the best teams in North America will face off in our two divisions. Twelve teams, in the AA class, Pepsi, and twenty-eight teams in the AAA class, Hudson Travel Group, will be present for this 43rd edition of the tournament. The teams promise us an exciting, high calibre hockey for the many fans in the region. The passion of the players and their teams The on ice success of the tournament would not be possible without the passion that is displayed by the players and their respective teams. Game in game out, the 15-18 year old youngsters offer the many fans of the region some exciting hockey. Again this year Gatineau will be presented by l’Intrépide de Gatineau in the AAA class and l’Intrépide de l’Outaouais in the AA class. Thank You! I wish to thank all the organizing committee members for their support and hard work. The tournament’s success is possible in large part due to the participation of the numerous volunteers and several sponsors who year after year support the Hull Kiwanis Club through the Gatineau Kiwanis International midget hockey tournament, which is recognized as a major event in midget hockey in Canada. On behalf of the organizing committee and myself we say THANK YOU for your support which essential in the presentation of such a big event. To you, the spectators, a special thanks for your encouragement of tomorrow’s stars, who again this year will offer some high calibre hockey games up until the finals which will be played on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 1PM (Pepsi AA conference) and 4PM (Hudson Travel Group AAA conference).
